What Is Occupational Therapy?

A thorough OT assessment looks at daily life, mobility, and home safety. During the assessment, an occupational therapist may:

• Identify areas of risk, including fall hazards or bathroom accessibility challenges

• Recommend equipment, strategies, or modifications tailored to the home

• Guide clients through funding programs like Ontario’s Assistive Devices Program (ADP)
