Our Story
Elevate Mobility is owned and operated by occupational therapist, Nicole Deacon. Nicole's passion for improving functional independence and participation in meaningful activities lead her to a career in occupational therapy. Nicole values building therapeutic relationships with client's and their families to help them navigate decisions around new equipment and funding programs.
Why occupational therapy?
Occupational Therapists (often referred to as OTs) are regulated health professionals who support participation in daily activities. At elevate mobility our OTs regularly work with clients to:

Mobilize independently in their home and community with appropriate mobility aids (canes, walkers, manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, power scooters).

Recommend new strategies for completing daily activities after a change in mobility.

Explore transfer aids to reduce risk of fall when moving between surfaces (i.e. from wheelchair to toilet, and into shower).
